Center Parcs Sherwood Forest launches new open-air experience for summer

Center Parcs Sherwood Forest is set to welcome guests to a brand-new experience this summer, with the launch of Forest Summer Social, a laid-back, open-air space designed for togetherness.
Running from 25th May until 31st August 2026, Forest Summer Social invites guests to settle into the natural surroundings of the Woodland Garden and enjoy a mix of entertainment, street food and family-friendly activities.
At the heart of space is the outdoor cinema, set to show everything from major live sporting events – including the World Cup, Grand Prix, Wimbledon and the Commonwealth Games - family-favourite films and classic singalongs. Films on the lineup include Mamma Mia, Frozen, The Greatest Showman and A Minecraft Movie. Guests can pre-book films for added comfort, including a deckchair, popcorn and a drink, or simply turn up with a blanket and enjoy the show.
Designed as a more flexible experience that makes the most of the longer summer days, the new launch offers a sociable atmosphere where guests can dip in and out, stopping by for a relaxed afternoon or settling in under the stars.
Surrounding the cinema, the Woodland Garden comes alive with a range of experiences for all ages. Guests can tuck into indulgent street food from the Summer Social Kitchen, sip refreshing drinks from the Aspall Bar, and take a moment to unwind.
For families, there’s plenty to explore. The Forest Craft Room offers drop-in creative activities, while the Family Nature Quest encourages little explorers to discover more about the forest. For something a little different, the interactive Light up the Forest experience invites guests to use bicycle power to illuminate their surroundings and watch the woodland come to life with light.
With its relaxed atmosphere and mix of activities, Forest Summer Social offers something for everyone, making it the perfect place to slow down, reconnect and make the most of summer.
