Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

FairhamLife representatives committed to supporting LNAA several years ago. Given Fairham’s location and the significant volume of construction work taking place as the new neighbourhood is delivered, it was recognised that, in the event of an emergency, LNAA would likely play a vital role in saving lives.
Fairham delivery partners, Clowes Developments and Homes England, therefore selected the local charity to benefit from fundraising initiatives throughout the 10–15 year lifespan of the development.
Over the years, contributions from companies involved in Fairham have helped build this total. O’Brien Contractors Ltd generously donated £2,000, which was match-funded by Clowes Developments. In addition, former Clowes employee Lucy Bloor supported the cause by completing the Robin Hood Half Marathon in aid of LNAA.
The partnership has also been recognised along Fairham Way, where dedicated space has been created to raise awareness of the charity. A QR code enables residents and visitors to donate quickly and easily.
The £9,000 donation has been generated through the sale of advertising space in this location. The first housebuilders to secure hoarding along Fairham’s main arterial route, Redrow and Countryside, contributed additional funds per metre as part of the initiative.
As more space is taken up by housebuilders, contractors and consultants, the fundraising effort will continue, with further sizeable donations to LNAA expected in due course.
The LNAA provides a critical, life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS), delivering advanced pre-hospital care to some of the most seriously ill and injured patients across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Crews, made up of highly skilled doctors and paramedics, effectively bring an emergency department directly to the scene, whether roadside, countryside or urban setting, administering advanced treatments such as blood transfusions, anaesthesia and emergency surgical procedures before transfer to hospital.
Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, LNAA attends an average of four potentially life-saving missions every day, with demand continuing to grow. In 2026 the charity has had its busiest start to a year ever, responding to over 550 missions in the first four months alone, an average of over five life-threatening incidents each day. Since launching in 1994, LNAA has carried out over 32,000 missions, reaching patients across a 3,500 square mile area, often within just 20 minutes.
Joe Harper, Corporate Partnerships Manager, LNAA commented:
“The number of missions we respond to has increased by 135% over the last five years, and this partnership with Clowes is providing vital support to our crews by covering the cost of life-saving equipment. The £9,000 they’ve raised through their advertisement initiative will cover the cost of a Lucas device; a portable, mechanical chest compression machine that delivers automated, high-quality, and consistent CPR to patients, freeing up our crew to deliver key surgical interventions.”
Crucially, despite the scale and importance of this service, LNAA receives no direct government or NHS funding for its daily operations and relies entirely on donations and community support to remain operational.
