Dress to impress for a fundraising day at the races

Sign up for the excitement and glamour of Royal Ascot Ladies Day right here in Northampton with an amazing immersive charity race event hosted by Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity.
The much-loved local charity is holding an afternoon of live action from Royal Ascot Ladies Day on Thursday 18th June at the Mercure Hotel Northampton, for the second consecutive year.
After the huge success of last year’s fabulous fundraiser, the popular event is back with a bang and guests are invited to dress to impress for the races, which will have a sweepstake, music, a photobooth, auction, raffle and fully licenced bar.
Avid race goers can enjoy live streaming from the Ascot races from 1pm to 7pm, as well as a welcome drink and bespoke afternoon tea included in the ticket price.
All monies collected on the day will go directly to Cynthia Spencer Hospice charity, which this year is celebrating its fifth decade of providing first-class care to palliative patients and their families across West Northamptonshire.
Cynthia Spencer Hospice Community and Events Fundraiser Sarah Sturman said:
“We were thrilled with the success of last year’s Royal Ascot Ladies Day Experience and had some fantastic feedback from our guests on how much fun they had for their day at the races.
“Ladies Day is renowned for glamour and fun and we can absolutely promise both of those things at our event, without any need to travel to the racecourse! Add to that delicious food, music, and opportunities to give back to your community and this event is practically perfect for a girl’s day out with a difference. We hope you’ll join us!”
The first race will start at 2.30pm and the last race is at 6.10pm. Guests must be aged 18 or over.
