Local cancer research charity invites businesses to turn the region blue this June

Hope Against Cancer, the East Midland’s own cancer research charity, is launching their Bright and Blue campaign this June with the aim of turning our region blue in support of world-class local cancer research and care, and they would like you to join them.
Businesses are invited to bring their teams together, hit some CSR goals and have a lot of fun by adding a splash of colour to their reception, offices or shop fronts this June. Display blue decorations, host blue themed fundraisers and dress in blue to raise funds and awareness for the innovative research the charity supports.
To join in all you would need to do is donate or pledge to raise £50 and you will receive a Bright and Blue pack containing blue bunting, blue balloons, fundraising support and ideas.
Funds raised will be used to support the incredible cancer research and care we have available in our area, including the internationally recognised Hope Cancer Trials Centre which the charity originally opened in 2012 and expanded in 2021.
The Hope Cancer Trials Centre benefits local people by bringing clinical trials to their doorstep and removing the need to travel huge distances for cutting-edge treatment.
Hope Against Cancer strive for a future where cancer is no longer feared and they are doing so right here in the East Midlands.
Shades of blue have always been a part of Hope’s brand identity, and they want to share that with everyone!
It is found everywhere they are, from the office to events and at the Hope Cancer Trials Centre.
The last time Hope Against Cancer held this event it was a big success. They had a group of local researchers dressing as Smurfs, a company trying to fit as many people as possible into a blue car, blue cakes, offices wrapped in blue and much more.
Every splash of blue will help to fund life changing cancer research and outstanding patient care that benefits the region.
