Nottingham opticians win industry award for sustainability

The team at a local opticians are celebrating after winning a top industry award for sustainability.
Specsavers in Nottingham, which is locally owned and run, won the Sustainability category at the Awards for Excellence. The annual awards took place at the ICC in Birmingham and recognise the achievements and professionalism across all UK and Ireland Specsavers stores.
‘We’re thrilled to have won this award for sustainability,’ Simon Dunn, store director at Specsavers Nottingham, says. ‘We’re always striving to be the best we possibly can and being recognised by the wider business is a real privilege.’
Nicole Thacker, fellow store director, adds:
