Base 51, a local youth charity that has been working with 11-24 year olds for over 30 years, once again hosted its annual awards ceremony, the Power In Partnerships Awards.
Taking place at popular venue Manahatta on the Thursday 26th March 2026 the Power In Partnerships Awards shine a light on the amazing work being done by charities, individuals and local business to support vulnerable people in the East Midlands. The guests enjoyed a sparkling reception, delicious meal and entertainment of Musical Bingo and a game of Head and Tails to raise vital funds to support Base 51’s work in to reduce social isolation and tackle the youth mental health crisis.
There were 9 awards given on the night – with Base 51 staff and volunteers also honoured. All winners, runners up and nominees have shown exceptional enthusiasm for their role in supporting vulnerable people in the area.
Young People's Champion:

The Headline award for the evening is the Power In Partnership Award which is given to an organisation that has worked with Base 51 to significantly improve the lives of young people in Nottingham, this year the charity were proud to acknowledge their partnership with Alternative Provision provider, Raleigh Education Trust; in their schools Base 51 counsellors provide over 90 hours of counselling a week to those struggling with their mental health.
