Wanderfully Balanced, founded and led by Bobbie Logan, has expanded from four clients to 18, while also appointing Ellen Wright as Client Account Manager, marking the first step in building a wider team as demand increases.
The business specialises in proactive bookkeeping support for small businesses, focusing on clarity, communication and reducing the stress often associated with financial management. Rather than waiting until year-end, Wanderfully Balanced works one month in arrears, giving clients an up-to-date picture of their finances and helping them avoid unexpected tax bills or last-minute panic.
Wanderfully Balanced was built on Bobbie’s belief that bookkeeping is about far more than numbers. Having qualified in 2016 and spent some time working for accountancy and bookkeeping firms, she set out to create her business in a way that supports people through what is often one of the most stressful areas of their lives. Bobbie’s approach is deeply rooted in personal experience. Before launching Wanderfully Balanced, she faced a period of profound hardship, including unemployment, severe mental health struggles and the trauma of taking her childhood abuser to court.
As part of developing and launching Wanderfully Balanced, Bobbie sought the insights of business growth specialist firm Big Business Entrepreneurs (BBE) to identify the tools, processes and commercial techniques needed to scale the company in a structured and sustainable way. Bobbie says that working with BBE played a key role in turning early momentum into sustainable growth.
Bobbie Logan, said:
“Growing Wanderfully Balanced from a standing start to gaining real momentum has been an incredible experience, but taking on my first team member has been the moment it really felt like a business rather than just a job. Bringing Ellen on as Client Account Manager is a huge step forward and a sign that what we’re building is sustainable.
“There was a time when I genuinely didn’t know how I was going to get through the day, let alone build a business. I’ve faced some very dark periods in my life, and to now be in a position where the business is growing, clients are thriving and I’m creating opportunities for others is something I don’t take lightly.
“Working with Big Business Entrepreneurs helped me turn belief into action. I had the passion and the purpose, but BBE gave me the structure, confidence and practical systems to grow properly. It’s allowed me to move forward with clarity and optimism, rather than fear.
“More importantly, I’ve gained access to a network of other likeminded people and experts who I know I can lean on when things are tough, and they will give me their take, based on their own experiences and their expertise to help me through those difficult times. That’s something a lot of people in business lack and I feel very lucky to have that.”
Adam Stott, founder of Big Business Entrepreneurs, said:
“Bobbie is someone we are incredibly proud to work with. She’s a brilliant example of what can happen when someone not only learns the teachable skills like process, marketing and sales, but also brings the unteachable qualities to the table – determination, resilience, curiosity and a genuine desire to do good.
“She has implemented everything with consistency and courage, and that’s why the results have followed. Bobbie hasn’t just built a growing business, she’s built something with purpose, and that’s exactly the kind of entrepreneur we love to support.
“Her journey shows that business growth isn’t just about numbers; it’s about mindset, character and the willingness to keep going when things are difficult. Bobbie embodies that, and Wanderfully Balanced is stronger for it.”
