He said:
“I’m delighted that my efforts have been recognised, but I’m very aware that I wouldn’t have secured this promotion without the team around me who are very talented and hard-working.
“My focus will be to continue supporting the growth of the wider team and particularly our planning offer in the South East and London.
“Fisher German has invested their time in me through training opportunities and has helped every step of the way. That ethos is the reason why I joined the company in the first place, and I think what is particularly special about Fisher German is their focus on people.”
Matthew Pocock worked in Fisher German’s Market Harborough office between 2009 and 2016 before moving to Derbyshire to work for the National Trust as a Senior Estate Manager.
He rejoined Fisher German in November 2025 to undertake property management and consultancy work.
“I undertake property management work for a mixture of rural and corporate clients across the Midlands with most of my time being spent in Derbyshire,” Matthew said.
“I am excited to have returned to Fisher German having watched the firm go from strength to strength during my time away and I am eager to contribute to the continuing growth and excellent reputation of the firm through my involvement as a Partner.
“I will continue to work to ensure that our clients’ existing and future needs are well catered for, and Fisher German is recognised as the first choice for all property management and consultancy matters.
“Rejoining Fisher German was an easy decision given the firm’s market presence, reputation and ethos towards providing excellent client service and protecting the wellbeing of their staff.”
The promotions are part of 77 that Fisher German has made across all areas of the company after a busy start to 2026.
The year has seen the firm win a major contract to deliver a range of consultancy services for Great British Energy – Nuclear as it builds the UK’s first small modular nuclear reactor at Wylfa in North Wales. Fisher German has also continued high-quality instructions in its agency, advisory, infrastructure and property management divisions.
Richard Benson, Senior Partner at Fisher German, added:
“These promotions give us the opportunity to highlight the achievements of Fisher German’s hard-working colleagues who have delivered for clients, their teams and colleagues.
“The 77 promotions are a testament to the dedication and high standard of delivery across all our divisions.
“I would like to congratulate every colleague who has been promoted which helps to ensure we continue to build a strong future for Fisher German.”
