Leicestershire camping company wins major UK award for family tourism innovation

A Leicestershire-based outdoor equipment company has been recognised with a major UK award, putting the region firmly on the map for camping and family tourism.
Holawild, based on Chartwell Drive in Wigston, has been named winner of the Best Large Family Tent category at the 2026 Out & About Live Camping Awards, one of the leading accolades in the UK camping industry.
The award-winning AirTek Sherwood 8.0 has been recognised for its scale, design and family-focused features, offering a high-comfort camping experience that reflects the growing demand for outdoor holidays across the UK.
