Now firmly established as one of the most influential gatherings in the UK road transport calendar, the Microlise Transport Conference (MTC) brings together senior leaders from logistics, technology, policy and infrastructure to explore the future of fleet operations.
For the first time, the conference will be held at Co-op Live, one of the most technologically advanced arenas in Europe, marking a major new chapter for the event as it moves to Manchester.
This year’s event will also see Zebra Technologies confirmed as Microlise’s official technology partner, further strengthening the conference’s focus on innovation and digital transformation across the transport sector.
The conference will be hosted by renowned technology broadcaster Spencer Kelly, best known for presenting the BBC’s long-running flagship technology programme Click. The agenda will examine key issues shaping the future of transport, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, regulatory change and the path to a more intelligent, connected fleet.
Speakers confirmed for the event include Dean Garvey-North, Chief Technology Officer at Microlise, who will outline the company’s vision for AI-enabled fleet intelligence, and Alastair Shooter from DHL, who will share insights from leading transport strategy across a global logistics network serving more than 2,000 customers in over 50 countries.
A panel discussion titled ‘Keeping Britain Moving: Compliance, Enforcement & Network Readiness for 2030’ will bring together industry leaders including representatives from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, National Highways, the Road Haulage Association and the Traffic Commissioners for Great Britain to examine the regulatory and infrastructure challenges facing the sector over the coming decade.
Cybersecurity will also feature prominently on the agenda, with expert insights from Jonny Pelter, who has worked closely with the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre and intelligence agencies including GCHQ.
Registrations for the event are already ahead of the same point last year, signalling strong industry interest in what promises to be the largest and most ambitious conference yet.
Nadeem Raza, CEO at Microlise, said:
“The transport sector is navigating a period of rapid transformation, from advances in AI and data-driven fleet management to evolving regulatory and compliance requirements.
“The Microlise Transport Conference brings together leaders from across the industry to share insight, challenge ideas and explore how we can collectively shape the future of road transport. Hosting the event at Co-op Live in Manchester marks an exciting new chapter for the conference, and we look forward to welcoming delegates from across the sector.”
The conference will be followed by the Microlise Driver of the Year Awards, which recognise the professionalism and dedication of the drivers who keep Britain’s supply chains moving every day.
