This Easter, visitors can cruise through time and space with live talks, interactive workshops, science activities and the brand-new Tetrastar Spaceport — an immersive low Earth orbit mission aboard the Tharsis spacecraft, open every day throughout the holiday.
Booking online guarantees entry, but visitors can also select one of the fulldome shows to enjoy in the UK’s largest planetarium, from the very latest One Step Beyond (audience winner at the Fulldome Festival) narrated by Richard Armitage, to the presenter‑led tour of the night sky, free from clouds, or unpredictable spring weather.
Across the Centre, families can take on challenges to drive a rover on Mars, discover how spacesuits protect astronauts on other worlds, or even build their own rover to take home.
This Easter also coincides with the upcoming NASA Artemis II mission, set to send astronauts around the Moon and back — a major milestone in global space exploration. Throughout the holidays, visitors can dive deeper into the technology, science and human stories shaping the future of missions to the Moon and Mars.
All day tickets purchased online include a FREE Annual Pass, giving visitors unlimited return visits for a full year. Existing Annual Pass holders can book their Easter visit at no extra cost.
Malika Andress, Head of Marketing at the National Space Centre, said:
“With the upcoming Artemis II launch making this a landmark moment for space exploration, Easter is the perfect time to dive deeper into the mission. Visitors can immerse themselves in the science and stories through our exhibitions, award‑winning planetarium shows and the Tetrastar Spaceport experience. We’re expecting a busy holiday period, so booking in advance is the best way to guarantee entry — and every online ticket is automatically upgraded to a FREE Annual Pass for a whole year of discovery.”
