Promotions earned by four-midable East Midlands new homes team

National housebuilder Miller Homes has announced a raft of promotions within its East Midlands business as the region prepares for sustained growth in 2026.
The Derbyshire-based housing developer has promoted four of its internal team into new roles across multiple areas of the business.
News of the appointments follow the housing firm recently launching its latest scheme – a flagship development of 470 new homes in Bramcote, alongside St Modwen Homes, in Nottinghamshire.
Richard Sargeson, from Chesterfield, is one of two promotions to contracts manager at Miller Homes East Midlands, as the developer prepares for further growth and new developments to be delivered across the region.
Richard said:
“I’m very proud to have earned this promotion with Miller Homes. The team here continue to thrive and it’s great to be a part of a group who harness talent and allow them to grow and further their careers, which is testament to everyone involved.”
Callum Smith joined Miller Homes East Midlands in 2024 as a quantity surveyor, before his recent promotion to senior surveyor.
Callum said:
“Miller Homes has provided me with the perfect platform within my own career, and have continued to give me opportunities to develop as a person and as part of the team.
“I’m really looking forward to my new role as senior surveyor and hope I can return the favour in helping to develop and work with the next generation of surveyors as they join the business.”
Since joining Miller Homes in September 2017, newly-promoted sales manager Lauren Gregory has witnessed a significant amount of change in the industry and its business practices for the sales team.
Lauren said:
“I joined Miller Homes nearly nine years ago and in that time we’ve seen a lot change in the housing industry, particularly in the light of the pandemic in 2020 and how that shifted how we worked and how we communicated with our customers.
“This promotion is a fantastic opportunity for me to progress further in my own career while continuing to support the Miller Homes team in the East Midlands which I remain very passionate about.”
Newly-appointed contracts manager, Simon Wilson, is celebrating his latest success with the business, having previously won four National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job awards with Miller Homes as site manager.
Simon said:
“I’ve been very fortunate to work with some fantastic colleagues and teams across the business during my time with Miller Homes, and following on from previous successes with the NHBC, this promotion enables me to have a wider view across all our sites currently being delivered across the East Midlands.”
Miller Homes East Midlands is currently building new homes across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire, including key schemes in Newark, Bramcote and Mackworth.
