Nominations Open for the Leicestershire Community Champions Awards

Nominations are now open for the Leicestershire Community Champions Awards (LCCA) 2025, with winners to be announced at a special awards evening on Thursday 13th November.

Launched by the Furnley House Foundation in 2020, the awards celebrate the efforts of individuals and organisations across Leicestershire who consistently go above and beyond to support and improve the lives of those in need. They specifically recognise those unsung heroes whose work and dedication make a massive difference to the local area but may otherwise go unnoticed.

The Furnley House Foundation is the brainchild of Furnley House, an award winning independent financial adviser, created to improve the lives of those less fortunate. Since 2018, the Foundation has raised over £325,000 for various charities and causes, benefiting countless lives.

Nominations are open until Friday 5th September. The categories include:

  • Charity of the Year
  • Charity Employee of the Year
  • Young Fundraiser of the Year
  • Fundraiser of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Trustee of the Year
  • Environmental Project of the Year
  • Community Organisation of the Year

More information and nominations can be submitted at https://www.furnleyhouse.co.uk/Events/lcca-2025

Winners will be announced at an awards evening on Thursday 13th November at Leicester Racecourse.

Last year, the winner of the headline Charity of the Year category was PASIC Cancer Support for Children and Young People, at an evening attended by over 140 people.
