Maciej Wegorzewski, proclaimed Adtrak’s “Fittest Marketer” and recent new father, competed in the international fitness racing event on 13th and 15th June, representing Poland on the world stage. He ranked among the top competitors out of more than 500,000 athletes who participated in the global HYROX season.
Sponsored by Nottingham agency, Adtrak, and, US Agency, Breeez, Maciej travelled to the United States for the pinnacle event of the HYROX calendar — a high-intensity race combining endurance running and functional strength. The championship saw elite athletes from across the world compete to be crowned Age Group World Champion.
“It was an incredible experience and a huge honour to represent my country at such a prestigious level,” said Maciej. “The support from Adtrak and my colleagues has been fantastic — their flexibility and encouragement really made a difference in my preparation.”
HYROX is a competitive fitness format that challenges participants to complete eight 1km runs, each followed by a functional workout station. The World Championships bring together the fastest racers from each country, competing across various age categories.
Supporting Wellness Beyond the Workplace
Adtrak, based in Cubo Standard Court in Nottingham, has long championed employee wellbeing as a key part of its workplace culture. The company offers a host of wellness initiatives, including flexible and hybrid working policies, mental health support, and access to an on-site gym and spa — the first of its kind across all Cubo sites.
In partnership with Westfield Health, Adtrak employees benefit from a range of medical services, including dental and optical care, as well as access to alternative therapies. The company also provides regular resources and emails focused on energy management, stress reduction, and physical wellbeing.
“We believe the values of dedication, focus, and discipline that we encourage in business naturally complement athletic success,” said Chris Robinson, CEO of Adtrak. “We’re incredibly proud of Maciej’s achievement — it reflects the culture of excellence we strive for in everything we do.”
Adtrak actively supports employees competing in sporting events, particularly those linked to charitable causes, and encourages community involvement through fundraising and sponsorship.
