BIRDS BAKERY RELEASES A NEW TAKE ON THE ‘ELEPHANT’S FOOT’ BUN

East Midlands’ favourite Birds Bakery has launched a new variety of one of their most popular products - the Elephant’s Foot.

 

The new Pink Elephant’s Foot is a cream-filled choux bun, a twist on a product which has been a part of the Birds’ pastry range for decades, and whilst the new product will still feature the famous cream filling it will also include strawberries and a sweet syrup gel, topped with a dusting of sugar.

 

The Elephant’s Foot has been a favourite among Birds’ customers, with the new variety joining the classic style and the miniature version which launched in 2023, and is available in all Birds stores across the region. There will also be a weekend special version of the new variety which will be of slightly bigger size.

 

Commenting on the new product, Jamie Bird, joint managing director at Birds Bakery, said:

“We are always looking for ways to develop and expand our product range at Birds and we love experimenting with customer favourites to create new products. Our Elephant’s Foot has been a bestselling product for years and, after seeing the popularity of the baby Elephant’s Foot, we decided to launch another version with a summer twist. 

“The Pink Elephant’s Foot is a fresh take on the classic, with juicy strawberries and a sweet syrup which is perfect for the warmer weather. We hope our customers enjoy the new product and we look forward to continuing to grow our selection of sweet and savoury treats.”
