Leicestershire-based The Simulator Company, recognised as the world’s number one innovative company in advanced circulatory therapy simulators, was recently honoured with an invitation to attend the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in May 2025, hosted in the presence of His Majesty King Charles.

The invitation was in recognition of the company’s work in advanced circulatory support simulation, where its simulators are playing a vital role in saving both human and animal lives.

Over the course of each year, over 30,000 guests are invited to spend an afternoon in the gardens of Buckingham Palace or the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Garden Parties are an important way for members of the Royal Family to speak to a broad range of people from all walks of life, all of whom have made a positive impact in their community.

Throughout the country, a long-established network of sponsors is used to invite guests, who include Lord-Lieutenants, Societies and Associations, Government Departments, Local Government, the Services, the Church and other Faiths.

Sagar Haval, Inventor, CEO and Managing Director of The Simulator Company, commented:

“We were honoured to receive this exclusive invitation to such a milestone event in the journey of The Simulator Company. It was a humbling experience to stand among individuals and organisations who have contributed significantly to their fields and to the greater good of our communities.

“Royal Garden Parties are more than just grand events—they are a celebration of dedication, service and the journey of individuals who have worked towards making the world a better place.

“As I stood in the palace gardens, I reflected on my own journey—from a perfusionist, to ECMO coordinator, to trainer, inventor, entrepreneur, and now leading innovations in ECLS Simulation globally.”
