Altia ranked in top 100 best companies for workplace development in UK

Investigative technology firm, Altia, has been officially named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ 2025 by Great Place to Work®.
The Nottingham-based leading provider of investigation software was ranked at 46 as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2025 for Development by Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture.
Employees cited the company’s commitment to development, innovation and staff growth as the main reasons for achieving this accolade.
They also confirmed they were provided with ample opportunities to better themselves, learn new skills and to progress within the organisation.
As well as encouraging workers to develop their professional and tech skills, Altia provides training to develop a positive workplace culture, including EAP Support for Line Managers and HR Personnel and Mental Health First Aid.
Reacting to the recognition, Altia CEO Rob Sinclair commended the contribution of the company’s employees in creating an environment where all workers can thrive, succeed, and progress.
Great Place to Work uses employee surveys to help guide organisations in building a strong work environment.
Its certification process captures valuable employee feedback using its research-driven Trust Index™ survey, as well as acquiring details about the organisation’s programmes and practices.
Listed in the medium category, some 84 percent of Altia employees said the company was a great place to work, compared to 54 percent of employees at a typical UK-based company.
Employing 90 members of staff at the time of the survey, 97% percent of respondents agreed they were treated fairly, regardless of their age, race or sex. Similarly, 97% percent felt that Altia gave them responsibility.
Employees also highlighted numerous practices and incentives as reasons for why they love working at Altia, including its generous annual leave package, bonus schemes, healthcare, and flexible working policy.
