Celebrating Business Excellence: First-Ever Mansfield and Ashfield Business Awards Honour Local Success Stories

The inaugural Mansfield and Ashfield Business Awards took centre stage last week at Portland College, celebrating the remarkable achievements of local businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

The prestigious event on Friday (14 March) recognised outstanding contributions to the region’s economic growth and community development, highlighting the resilience, creativity, and ambition of the local business community.

With an impressive turnout, the awards ceremony honoured twelve exceptional businesses across eleven diverse categories, showcasing the dynamic nature of the Mansfield and Ashfield business landscape. Businesses ranging from new micro businesses to large and well established enterprises were celebrated, spotlighting those that have demonstrated excellence in performance, innovation, and community impact.

  • Rising Star Award – Summer Anais Fox
  • Environmental and Sustainability Award – Nottingham Zinc Group
  • Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award – Capita

Additionally, two highly commended awards were presented to Carrie Austin of Wired Differently Sensory Seekers and Power Saving Solutions in recognition of their exceptional contributions.

The evening also featured a charity raffle raising money for John Eastwood Hospice, which successfully raised over £1600.
