Leicestershire developer's raffle raises funds for children's hospice

Bardon-based David Wilson Homes has hosted a raffle, raising vital funds for its charity of the year, Rainbows Hospice for Babies, Children and Young People.
The raffle featured an array of sought-after prizes, including a PlayStation 5, a Ninja Air Fryer, and a 55” Samsung TV, with staff purchasing £5 ’big ticket’ entries for a chance to win.
In total, the raffle raised £5,770 for the Loughborough-based charity, which provides critical care and support to families with children facing serious or terminal illnesses.
David Wilson Homes’ employees have been actively fundraising for Rainbows since July 2024, participating in a variety of events and challenges to support the hospice.
Kirsty Coxon, Corporate Partnership Fundraiser at Rainbows, said:
“We are thrilled with the fantastic amount raised by David Wilson Homes through its raffle.
“The kindness and generosity of the staff members means the world to everyone here at Rainbows, and the money raised will help us to support families across the East Midlands that have children with life-limiting conditions.”

Rainbows Hospice, located in Loughborough, provides essential care to hundreds of families each year, supporting babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Rainbows also offers comfort and compassion at the time of and following the loss of a loved one.
