Why it's time to handover the reigns of Love Business Expo

Love Business Expo is regarded as the East Midlands best exhibition and networking event, and apart from one year of lockdown, it's run annually ever since 2012 - the year London hosted the Olympics.
2025 is about celebrating the next generation, so it's fitting Philip and I hand over this amazing event to Gemma, and the team at East Midlands Apprenticeships Training (EMA). Not many people know Love Business Expo wouldn't have been possible without Gemma, who in 2012 was Head of Marketing for Donington Park. She took the brave decision to host the Love Business Expo free of charge at the Paddock Suite. We organised the first Love Business Expo in 9 weeks with her help, support from the East Midlands Chamber, and several other businesses who believed in the region. This passion for the East Midlands has always been at the heart of the events success. It’s showcased everything that’s great about the businesses within the three counties of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. We set out to create an event which gave real value to everyone attending. We wanted to make it accessible and more importantly, affordable for all sizes of business - and we achieved it!
Gemma, has been involved with Love Business Expo from day one, she was instrumental in the start-up, supported and sponsored it with her own business, and now takes over the event to give it that vital injection of energy needed to continue it’s reputation of the regions most remarkable event.

We have some exciting plans for 2025, and we’ll keep you posted - with an exciting announcement we’re saving until the Love Business Expo on the 6th of Feb.
