Festive fundraising fun run for hospice

December kicks off next week with a festive fundraising fun run for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

The charity is hosting a Virtual Reindeer Run in the lead up to Christmas, in which anyone can sign up to take part in the race wearing reindeer antlers.

Choose your own date, location and distance to make it suit all ages and abilities. You can walk, skip or jog if running isn’t for you.

All participants will receive a pair of reindeer antlers and anyone who raises £50 or more in sponsorship, will receive a medal.

Schools are also encouraged to take part, with two Northamptonshire primary schools entering all of their combined 1000 pupils!

Michelle Morris, Community and Events Lead at Cynthia Spencer Hospice, said:

“Join us for this fun Christmas running challenge and have lots of fun while helping us raise vital funds for the hospice. Why not invite your friends and family to join you too!

“It is not essential to fundraise for this challenge, but we welcome any donations to support the great work that the Cynthia Spencer Hospice carries out.

“Keen runners can even sync a Strava account to their fundraising page, so supporters can see your Reindeer Run! If you do take part, please don’t forget to share your pictures with us so we can share in your fun.”

Entry to the Reindeer Run is just £5 per person, which includes antlers and postage and packaging.
