“To win seventeen medals and be recognised as the top-performing English college is a testament to their skill, hard work, and dedication. It also reflects the tireless commitment of our staff to delivering excellence in education and training."

Marion added:

"We are delighted to see our students excelling on a national stage, and their success underscores the value of hands-on, industry-focused learning. This recognition is a proud moment not just for our college but also for the employers and communities we serve."

The competitions, hosted across eight venues in Greater Manchester, concluded with a prestigious awards ceremony at the Bridgewater Hall. This year marks the last time the national final will be held in Greater Manchester. Next year the national competitions will take place in Cardiff.

Elizabeth Culley, Commercial Make-Up gold winner said:

“Every time a competition had been suggested to me, I never believed I could do it, the skills set seemed too far away and my self belief was non existent. Each time I have improved, grown and surprised myself.

“To reach the finals was amazing but to achieve gold medal was unbelievable. I am so thankful for each opportunity and the support given.”
