Detroit-based Little Caesar Pizza, which has more than 4,000 branches across the globe, has signed a deal with Alphageek Digital, based in Derby, to provide a suite of marketing services including social media management, PPC and SEO.
The deal is one of the biggest ever signed by the firm, which has been in business for five years and employs 20 members of staff, almost all of whom will work on the Little Caesar Pizza account.
Staff at Alphageek Digital were approached by the pizza company after they were impressed by the work they had carried out for True Pizza, in Chellaston, which Little Caesar took over in 2022.
It was the first UK branch for the company which has since opened stores in Nottingham and London with around 100 more planned for the next three years.
Sales director Alex Mills said:
“This is a very big account for Alphageek and we are thrilled for two reasons. Firstly, we are proud to have won this work when major companies like Little Caesar usually go to major London agencies. We know we can produce the results without the costs incurred by massive overheads and it’s brilliant that this has been recognised by Little Caesars.
“Secondly, we’re pleased that our reputation has led to this contract; Little Caesars saw the results that we carried out for True Pizza and were blown away. They recognise that we have the ability to build their brand one neighbourhood at a time.
“Staff flew over from America to meet us and they told us they were impressed because we are small enough to care, but big enough to know we can cope with the scale of the work.”
Little Caesar is just one of a number of national and international clients for Alphageek which also works with Casio, G-Shock, Project D, HUUB and Do Not Age.
It is not the first time the company has worked within the hospitality industry, they also work for Binks Yard in The Island Quarter, in Nottingham, as well as Tamatanga, an award-winning independent Indian restaurant group renowned for authentic food served in a vibrant environment.
Little Caesar Pizza is still a family-owned business having launched in 1959 and reports an annual turnover of $4bn. It has restaurants in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and Canada.
Alex, who is one of the founders of Alphageek, alongside friends Kieran Flynn and Art Lindop, added:
“Little Caesar has huge growth plans for this year and it’s really exciting to be working with them at a time of such rapid expansion throughout the UK.
“We won our contract with Casio off a London agency, they were in the top 10 agencies in the UK at the time, so it was a very big deal for us.
“The fact that a global organisation as huge as Little Caesar is willing to put all its digital marketing in our hands is an incredible endorsement. We can’t wait to get started.”
