PERMAGROUP CELEBRATES DECADE OF SUCCESS FOR APPRENTICE TURNED SUPERVISOR

Leading provider of innovative product solutions PermaGroup has seen a long-standing team member celebrate 10 years at the business this month, a significant milestone that underpins the company’s continued trajectory of success.
Jordon Whittaker joined PermaGroup as a warehouse apprentice aged 17 and worked his way up to become warehouse team leader, and has recently been promoted to warehouse supervisor thanks to his dedication and hard work. Jordon’s latest role will see him lead a team of 14 people, and as well as his work on the shop floor, he will now take on responsibility for HR tasks and communicating with other supervisors within the business.
During his initial training the team at PermaGroup helped Jordon achieve a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Warehousing, Maths and English, something which he views as one of his greatest professional achievements and key to his success in the industry.
Jordon said:
“The team at PermaGroup really look after us and make us feel valued, which is why I’ve stayed with the company for so many years. I have never felt like just a number and my career development has always come first. It was a great achievement for me to secure a permanent role at PermaGroup following my apprenticeship, and that wouldn’t have been possible without the support I received throughout.
“Working with my team is hugely rewarding and there’s nothing like the feeling of accomplishment we have at the end of the day once all our orders are completed. Here's to another 10 years!”
