Nielsen McAllister launches sustainability communications advice for businesses

Derby-based PR agency Nielsen McAllister has launched a range of services to help businesses master their environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainability communications.

The new services offered by Nielsen McAllister include the development of company-wide sustainability communications strategies and the creation of key documents such as ESG reports. These new offerings sit aside the agency’s ongoing work in PR and social media, for comprehensive cross-channel communications that are clear, consistent and accurate.

Company director Simon Kinnear has recently completed a Specialist Diploma in Sustainability Communications from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, to support the agency’s commitment to keeping up-to-date with the latest thinking, tools and techniques to ensure that all sustainability messaging is responsible.

“Customers increasingly expect businesses to have a pathway towards sustainability, and the law is getting even tighter in terms of how ESG is reported. On the flipside, it’s easy to fall into the trap of ‘greenwashing’ by making claims that can’t be backed up.  We can help companies to get it right,” explained Simon Kinnear.
