Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Dougnotts has teamed up with two Nottingham-based companies, Legion Express, a courier delivery service, and Print4 Ltd, a print and packaging firm, in a move to reinstate the firm’s delivery service.
Doughnotts co-founder Wade Smith said:
“We ended our delivery service to focus on getting the flavours and fillings spot on for a big relaunch. But, since then, we’ve been inundated with messages from a huge number of customers to bring it back.”
Looking to fill the hole, Doughnotts teamed up with local businesses to find a reliable shipping solution, which involved the special adaptation of some of the most popular flavours.
“After many weeks of trial and error exploring new delivery box designs and putting the transportation of our doughnuts to the test, we have now launched our new and improved delivery service,” said Wade.
“Some of our classic flavours weren’t suitable for shipping due to them being loaded with toppings that won’t stay in place in the post. So, we created stuffed versions of six classic flavours that have been loved since day one to create the brand-new Superfilled Classics box.
“We reinvented these firm favourites so they are able to travel in one piece while still bursting at the seams with filling. This box joins our wider range of dipped, dusted and deep-filled doughnuts that are made in Nottingham and delivered nationwide.”
The Superfilled Classics box contains a mix of flavours that are suitable for vegans or vegetarians: Cherry Bakewell, Scoff It (Biscoff-themed), Birthday Cake, Thicka Than A Snicka, Weekend Billionaire and Lemon Meringue.
Biscuit Bonanza (a 100% vegan box containing Cookies & Dream, Scoff It and Jammie Dodger flavours), Chocolate Lovers, Standard Classics, Premium Classics and Build Your Own box options are also up for grabs, as well as a variety of ‘Big Boy’ Doughnotts – eight-inch diameter supersized doughnuts that can serve up to eight people.
The firm is also supplying a range of ready-made greetings cards to accompany orders, at an additional cost of £2.50.
Wade said:
“There are a mix of messages and gorgeous designs to suit a range of special occasions including birthdays, graduations and get well soon wishes, as well as sweet options for loved ones – because nothing says I love you like a doughnut!”
The doughnut boxes are also available at the firm’s chain of stores across the East and West Midlands, including Nottingham, Derby, South Normanton, Lincoln and Cannock, alongside even more tasty flavours.
