Embark on a magical journey through the enchanting grounds of Belvoir Castle Gardens with Bertie the Beaver. Follow the paw prints, discover hidden clues, and join Bertie along with Sylvie the Squirrel, Mossy the Mouse, Oswald the Owl, and many more, on a whimsical adventure through the Rose Garden.
Complete the quest and return to Belvoir Castle, where a special Easter chocolate surprise awaits. The whole day is always filled with laughter, discovery, and the magic of the woodlands, creating cherished memories. Bertie’s Easter Expedition is free with either a Belvoir Castle or Gardens entrance ticket.
Make time as well for the Adventure Playground, which is also free with a Belvoir Castle or Gardens ticket. Great for children to explore and perfect for all ages, from ships to slides and even a zip wire, where you can witness the joy as they have endless fun.
Once everyone has experienced the Easter excitement, head to Belvoir Castle’s world-famous Afternoon Tea, gift shop or the Belvoir Castle Retail Village for some springtime retail therapy. The Retail Village has a top-quality home and garden centre, and there’s always time for a light bite at the Belvoir Bistro or relax in the Balloon Bar with its quirky atmosphere and drinks for all ages.
Explore Belvoir Castle’s state rooms and breath-taking gardens. The historic Grade -listed Belvoir Castle provides the perfect backdrop for a fun-filled family day out during the Easter festivities. Enjoy the sights and sounds of spring and see how the Gardens have come alive with colour and fragrance. The daffodils are out, and the trees are coming alive, creating an idyllic setting for an Easter Holidays day to remember.
The Gardens welcome visitors from 9:30 am, and the Castle doors open at 10am. Ensure you make the most of your visit with last entry at 3:30pm, closing at 5pm. While dogs are very welcome in the Gardens, they are prohibited in the Playground and Castle.
Great news for families with young children as children under three have free entry everywhere. Details of tickets and more entertainments are on the Belvoir Castle website. Free entry is available for Friends of Belvoir, Historic Houses members, and RHS members for the Gardens only. Please note car parking charges apply. All tickets include access to the Adventure Playground.
