The Nottinghamshire developer’s fundraising totalled £4,500, including matched funding from parent company, Barratt Developments, and the combined funds raised was £150,000.
Having started their trek at Ilam Hall in Derbyshire, participants carried out a 10-mile or 25-mile hike through the beautiful Peak District, before returning in stages for the merriment of the evening’s entertainment.
David Thomas, CEO at Barratt Developments, also took part in the hike for the two charities.
Mark Cotes, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes North Midlands, said:
“We are extremely proud of our colleagues that took part in this year’s Big Barratt Hike.
“Their dedication to taking on the challenge has resulted in an incredible amount of money being raised for each charity, and we know this donation will support two excellent causes in continuing their important work.”
