Leicester recruitment firm supports Rainbows

Staff at a Leicester recruitment firm are taking on a year of fundraising for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

Accept Recruitment, based in Forest Business Park, has supported Rainbows for 18 months and joined the Rainbows Business Club in June. Since then, it has been showing its support to the charity.

Earlier this year, several members of staff took part in the Rainbows It’s a Knockout competition, raising over £1,100. And at Easter, a virtual egg hunt was arranged along with chocolate eggs being donated to the hospice.

A clothing donation drop off point is now stationed in Accept’s offices for staff to drop in their unwanted items, which then go on to the Rainbows shops across the East Midlands.

Mark Pearce, Managing Director at Accept said:

"Every storm eventually gives way to a beautiful rainbow. Similarly, Rainbows provides hope to children and families during their difficult times, transforming their lives with love and compassion and we are thrilled to be a part of this.

“At Accept Recruitment, we believe in giving back to the local community and supporting causes that make a meaningful impact. After hearing and seeing the profound impact Rainbows has on so many lives, choosing them as our charity partner was an absolute no-brainer.

“There are 31 members on the Accept Recruitment team, and we take great pride in the fact that every single individual actively participates in our partnership with Rainbows. Each division within our organisation plays a vital role in supporting this partnership, and their contributions are of utmost importance to us.”

Accept plans on carrying out many more fundraising ideas throughout the year for its staff, clients and candidates to get involved in.

Lauren Baker, Corporate Partnerships Manager, added:

“I would like to thank the team at Accept for the incredible work they are doing for Rainbows, not only through fundraising but also raising awareness through their social media and messaging. We are delighted to be working with them for the next year and we look forward to seeing what they have planned. Without the support of companies like Accept, we wouldn’t be able to provide care to hundreds of babies, children and young people and their families.”
