Great Scott! Love Business EXPO 2024 offers businesses a ‘Blast to the Future’

Love Business EXPO – the region’s biggest free business event – is blasting into the future in 2024.

The event, which takes place at Holywell Park Conference Centre, in Loughborough, on 15th February, will take a closer look at what’s on the horizon for businesses. It will explore how AI and digital tools will drive business growth, and how best to introduce the next generation of talent into the workforce.

It will feature an ‘AI village’, talks from AI guru Martin Broadhurst and social media expert Mark Saxby, and a ‘Question Time-style’ panel discussion focusing on bridging the skills gap, in association with East Midland’s Chamber’s Generation Next programme.

Event organisers, sponsors and partners gathered at Burleigh Court, in Loughborough, today/this week/recently to officially launch the 2024 Love Business Expo.

Once again, thousands of delegates, hundreds of exhibitors and dozens of sponsors and partner organisations will attend the annual showcase of local business success. It will feature the same great mix of high-profile guest speakers, amazing exhibitors and activities and high-level networking opportunities, making it a must-attend event for local businesses of all sizes.

Event partners include headline sponsor East Midlands Chamber, SMB College Group, The Printers, the FSB, Kuku Connect, Cross Productions, Hardy Signs, Status Social, and dpi. Charity partners include Me & Dee and Help the Homeless Leicester & Leicestershire.

Fancy Entertainment will provide themed actors and immersive experiences throughout the day. Visitors will also be able to grab a selfie with Marty McFly’s iconic DMC DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future movie trilogy.

Steve Megson, Managing Director of Love Business founder Quiet Storm Solutions, said: “Love Business has gone from strength to strength since our first event in 2012, but rather than looking to the past, we’ve decided to blast to the future for next year’s event.

“The rise of AI, machine learning and digital technology has dominated the news agenda this year thanks to tools like ChatGPT. As more businesses turn to these technologies to automate processes, streamline and grow, we want to explore the issue in more detail, with local experts sharing their views on how businesses can harness these innovations to support their growth and success.

“We also want to examine the ongoing skills challenge and how business and education can work together to bridge the gap and equip the next generation of talent with the skills they – and their employers – need to thrive.

“We have big plans to make 2024 the biggest and best Love Business to date and are grateful for the support of all our sponsors and event partners, who gathered this week to discuss how we can make it another success.”
