Derby PR agency bags double nominations at this years’ CIPR Awards

Derby-based PR and communications agency, Nielsen McAllister has been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards 2023.

The Business-to-Business specialist is a finalist in both the Small PR Consultancy of the Year and Low Budget Campaign of the Year categories.

The CIPR Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding public relations work from all over the Midlands, including agency, in-house and independent PR specialists.

The nomination for Best Small PR Consultancy of the Year demonstrates Nielsen McAllister’s continued growth and success over the past year, which has included several new client wins. With team culture and employee development amongst the judging criteria, the shortlisting also reflects Nielsen McAllister’s focus on building its brand as a great place to work.

As a local agency and part of the St Peters Quarter Business Improvement District (BID) in Derby, Nielsen McAllister was chosen to support PR for both Derby’s Cathedral Quarter and St Peters Quarter BIDs. The success of the work to date has seen the agency named as a finalist in the Low Budget category for securing a regular presence in the primary local paper, the Derby Telegraph, as well other local and regional websites and TV and radio broadcast channels.

The winners will be announced at the CIPR Awards Ceremony held on 17th November in Birmingham.

Bob Bushby Managing Director of Nielsen McAllister said:

“We are delighted to be shortlisted for two prestigious CIPR Awards. Both nominations reflect the efforts and expertise of our team in delivering for our clients. We are all very much looking forward to finding out the results in Birmingham this November.”
