Kathryn, who has been Clay Target shooting since the age of X, will be participating alongside her partner at this summer’s World Championships and is hoping to medal at the tournament. The tournament will be taking place from the 3rd to 8th July, with Kathryn shooting on the 5th & 6th.

MHR are dedicated to providing support to notable causes, particularly those based in the region and is part of a wider mission to support employees in all walks of life. Kathryn, People First Product Manager at MHR, is splitting her training time between weekends and lighter nights in order to prepare for her participation at the event.

Jessica Mills, Chairman at MHR recognises the significance of Kathryn’s participation, particularly as a woman in a male-dominated sport.

“Kathryn is a shining example of the type of person we want to thrive at MHR. As a woman in a male-dominated sport, she continues to set the bar for dedication to both her work at the office and her passion for clay target shooting. She has a diverse skillset that is visible across her role as Product Manager at MHR, to the skills she has developed as a top-class Clay Target athlete. We are extremely proud to be able to support her participation in the summer’s World Championships.”

Kathryn Smith said

“It is wonderful to have the support of MHR for the World Championships. This will go a long way to covering the entry fee for the tournament, and any potential travel costs attached to it.

MHR have been brilliant, and I can’t wait to compete with their support this summer.”
