Nottinghamshire site manager gets seal of approval for construction quality

A David Wilson Homes Senior Site Manager has won a top national award for the quality of homes being built at a housing development in Bingham.

The National House Building Council (NHBC) has recognised Dane Mumford (37) for his site management capabilities with a Seal of Excellence Award, marking him as among the best in the UK.

Dane is overseeing the construction of David Wilson Homes’ Romans’ Quarter development off Dunsmore Avenue, and has been working for the developer for over eight years.

Dane said:

“To win the award and be named amongst so much talent within the East region is every Site Manager’s ambition within the housing sector.

“I owe it all to the trades, operatives, site labourers, forklift drivers, subcontractors, and management team, as without their commitment and efforts this would not be possible.”

These accolades rate Site Managers against key criteria such as technical expertise, health and safety, consistency, leadership and attention to detail. The awards celebrate the vital role Site Managers play in ensuring new homes are delivered on-time, on safe sites and to the highest quality standards.

Having won a Pride in the Job Quality Award earlier in the year, the Seal of Excellence achievement marks an excellent year of achievements for Dane.
