Evelyn Partners, the leading integrated wealth management and professional services group created from the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson, has announced the appointment of Sam Whatsize as a Financial Planner in the firm’s Nottingham office as part of its continued expansion in the East Midlands.

He is the third Financial Planner to join the office in the past six months, following the appointments of Alex Morton and Nick Parkes.

Prior to Brown Shipley, he was a Financial Planning Manager at Santander.

Sam will be based at Evelyn Partners’ Nottingham office, at Loxley House, Riverside Business Park, which offers clients a range of financial services including investment management, investment advisory and financial planning from highly qualified experts.

Craig Richards, Head of Evelyn Partners’ Nottingham office commented:

“I am delighted to welcome Sam to the growing team in our Nottingham office. Sam joins at an exciting time for our business as we continue with our ambitious strategy of expanding our presence in the East Midlands. I’m confident that Sam’s experience and expertise will be instrumental to our growth plans. His appointment enables us to provide holistic financial planning advice to even more clients.”

I have been working hard developing my skills over the past several years in the financial services industry and joining Evelyn Partners will help me continue along this path. I feel that my previous experience in bank assurance and private banking has allowed me to develop the skills to offer the highest level of service to my clients. I look forward to working with the various specialists within the company to ensure my clients receive the best wealth management advice, helping them to achieve their goals.”
