The UK has seen the highest national average rent increase since 2016, with the East Midlands hit the hardest. While the nation has seen an average increase of 2.7% in the 12 months to April, the East Midlands have seen rents increase by 4.0%[1].
In contrast, mortgage rates remain low with a range of schemes available to help house-hunters buy a new build property with a 5% deposit. Rippon Homes is encouraging people to make the most of these schemes to buy rather than rent.
Rippon Homes is offering buyers a chance to reserve a three-bedroom semi-detached home for £99 whilst also gifting them a 5% deposit when they reserve selected homes at Eleanor Gardens or Rose Gardens in July.
With the end of the Help to Buy Scheme, Rippon Homes is also helping out first time buyers with a 5% deposit scheme on any three-bedroom semi-detached house at Rose Gardens and Eleanor Gardens.
Rippon Homes also had a £4k your way scheme, which gives buyers £4,000 in vouchers or towards their deposit or legal fees when they reserve selected homes.
Julie Johnson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Rippon homes, said,
“At Rippon Homes, we want to make the buying experience as easy as possible for our customers. That’s why we started these schemes to help our buyers when it comes to saving for their deposit.
“With the price of rent the highest it’s been since 2016, we fully appreciate the impact this has on people’s expenditure. With the schemes in place designed to help buyers, there has never been a better time to buy new and help ease some of that financial burden.”
Rippon Homes’ £4k your way scheme is available on select properties at their Rose Gardens and Fox Hollow developments.
Their offer of 5% off the deposit when you pay a £99 reservation fee is available on all three-bedroom semi-detached homes at Rose Gardens and Eleanor Gardens.
