Nottingham firm George Square clocks-up ten years

Nottingham firm George Square Financial Management is celebrating ten years of providing independent financial planning solutions and mortgage advice across the region.

Founded in 2012 by managing director George Goward, the firm set out to provide first-class independent financial advice to individuals and businesses, delivered by a highly experienced team of professionals:

“The firm’s corporate expansion plan has been focused on the creation of a highly experienced team of financial experts,” explains George Goward, “central to which was the creation of a ten-strong team of advisers, each with specialist knowledge in individual elements of our portfolio of independent financial advice, from financial planning, investments and pensions to tax planning and mortgage advice.”

Amid sustained growth in demand for its impartial financial planning and mortgage advice in the region, the firm has added three senior advisers in the last 12 months.

“Chartered Financial Adviser, George Bonsall, joined in late 2021, with mortgage advisers Phil Browne and Alex Barrett completing the corporate expansion plan when they joined as Mortgage Protection Advisers in May this year,” he explains.

“It has been an exciting time for the business, which has continued to develop in line with the corporate expansion plans - especially for the firm to reach the goal of a ten-strong team of independent financial advisers on board in time for its tenth anniversary. We have recorded sustained growth in demand for our independent financial advice throughout our ten years of operation, and are in excellent shape as we begin the next decade.”
