J Tomlinson awarded 29th position in Top 200 Companies in Nottinghamshire 2022

J Tomlinson are proud to be awarded 29th position in Business Live and Nottinghamshire Live’s Top 200 Companies in Nottinghamshire, rising 16 places since 2019.

Companies across Nottinghamshire were ranked to celebrate local trade and to determine which businesses have excelled over the last three years.
Chief Executive, Mark Davis attended the event at Nottingham Trent University to celebrate the release of the confirmed list that J Tomlinson was a part of.

“It is always a pleasure to attend the awards and a major thank you to the organisers in what has been an extremely difficult period over the last two years,” said Davis.

“We all focus our energies on our particular businesses sectors and the awards bring together some fantastic companies across many industries, who work regionally, nationally, and internationally.”

The event was last held in 2019, due to the annual event being postponed due to coronavirus restrictions.

J Tomlinson were ranked at 45th position in 2019 and have jumped 16 ranks since then, becoming one of few high rising companies.

“It was a pleasant surprise to move up the rankings in what has been a once in a lifetime period. The siege that was covid affected all our sectors differently and being a large employer the impact to all stakeholders, customers, employees, and supply chain partners was significant and dynamically fluid. Planning was near on impossible and agility, resourcefulness, colleague support, and significant energy we set about the challenges,” he added.

“Through the prompt actions instigated at the on-set of covid, we had a sector, including social housing and emergency services where we needed to continue to provide core services and maintain legislative compliance, whilst changing working practices for covid compliance measures.”

J Tomlinson have had an accelerated growth since previously attending, with various projects and the formulation of enduring relationships with clients.
Such partnerships include private and public sectors, including housing associations, local council authorities, education institutes, and care providers.

“We had fantastic support from our customers, and they appreciated the diligence and efforts to deliver said services with the most challenging of backdrops,” he said.

It was announced recently that J Tomlinson were awarded a hard facilities management contract with The ExtraCare Charitable Trust providing responsive, void, and cyclical maintenance, predicting more success to come the company’s way.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the J Tomlinson team, who gave business the highest level of commitment in the last two years.”
