Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Celebrating a decade of success

Celebrating a decade of success

Human Resources experts are celebrating their 10th anniversary and raising a glass to how far they’ve come since two colleagues started a home-based business working from a spare room!

Amica HR directors David Grech and Suzanne Tricker, who head-up a 10-strong team, now work out of two offices in Lincoln’s Think Tank and the firm also has an office in London’s Great Portland Street.

David said:

“We are thrilled to have developed and grown year-on-year to reach this special milestone, from a very modest start. It is great to be able to say we now have local, regional, UK and international clients. We are ready to build on this in the years ahead.

“What is particularly satisfying is that we have grown organically, developing our services along the way and always responding to the changing state of the economy. We are delighted to enjoy strong client support.

“I would like to thank all our clients and supporters who have been with us from the outset, as well as our newer clients, many of whom have joined us as a result of ongoing referrals.”

Suzanne said:

“Today, we are on the radar of much larger companies than we were several years ago.

“We have a very experienced team of high calibre staff, which is a major factor in helping us to attract much bigger clients who realise that we can service their businesses. People are looking at us based on our capability to provide the solutions which they need.

“We have been growing 20 to 30 per cent year-on-year and we are working with businesses and organisations within all types of industry.”

Amica HR is proud to number itself among companies who saw no let-up in demand during the Coronavirus Pandemic, when the team put in extra hours to ensure its clients were kept-to-date with the ever-changing announcements coming out of Downing Street.

They resulted in major changes on the employment front, with companies striving to continue operating during lockdowns, having put people on furlough and eventually moving to hybrid working.

Amica HR, which provides special packages to suit individual businesses, has grown to offer complete solutions, which can include management training, psychometric testing and dealing with the implications for workforces when companies go down the acquisitions and mergers routes.

Suzanne added that team got a major boost when a Big Data company said the Lincoln-headquartered business was the most professional and best HR supplier with whom they had ever worked.

Nearer to home, Horncastle-based LIVES’ Chief Executive Nikki Cooke wanted to congratulate Amica HR on its achievements and explain how it had relied on its expertise over the past eight years.

“Amica HR is our sole adviser. The team offers us administrative help, strategic and organisational development advice, bespoke training for our managers, undertakes staff surveys and wider consultancy services,” said Nikki.

“The team is fabulous to work with. Amica’s staff have a high variety of expertise and they are able to solve our HR issues. The business is reliable, responsible and offers a good quality service that I can rely on.”
