250 miles cycled for me&dee charity

Over the last week in April, The Derby Conference Centre cycled 250 miles for the me&dee memory trail and raised £347.55 for the charity.

A static bike was placed in the Sunken Lounge for all to see (and to donate to) during one of the busiest weeks at the conference centre so far this year. The aim was to hit 250 miles, which would cover the distance from Birmingham Children’s Hospital (the first treat me&dee gave was for a child here), then calling at Melbourne (me&dee Office), then Mablethorpe (me&dee holiday homes were there for 7 years), then to Sherwood Hideaway (the new lodge is based there) back to the office in Melbourne!

Over the week, DCC team members, delegates and friends of the DCC all took part, cycling their miles, and were able to raise over £300.00.

Matt Hutchings, Managing Director of The Derby Conference Centre and Trustee of me&dee says

“I’m incredibly proud of the team for their effort and participation in our fundraiser – it was great to see everyone getting involved, including delegates from meetings being held at the centre. I’m so glad that we raised so much for me&dee charity.”
