Charity Summer Ball returns

The Furnley House Foundation Summer Ball is returning on Friday 1st July with The Zinthiya Trust as the headline charity.

This year’s Summer Ball is taking place at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester and includes a 3-course meal and drinks, entertainment and a charity auction and raffle.

Born out of local Financial Adviser and Mortgage Brokers Furnley House’s ambition to create opportunities and improve the lives of the local community, the Furnley House Foundation hold a number of events to help bring the community together and have previously raised in excess of £40,000 each year.

The Zinthiya Trust provide information, advice, and practical support to alleviate poverty and abuse in Leicestershire. They were chosen as the headline charity after winning the Charity of the Year category at the Furnley House Foundation’s Leicestershire Community Champions Awards in October last year.

Stefan Fura, Founder of Furnley House and Trustee of the Furnley House Foundation said

‘After a two-year break, we’re very excited to be back with our Summer Ball. Our previous two balls raised over £75,000 between them and we are hoping for similar success this year.

‘The Zinthiya Trust impressed us by how wide ranging the support they offer is and the funds raised at the ball will go towards supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society.

‘We’d love to see as many people as possible joining us for what promises to be a great night raising money for an important cause.’
