Business coach Tony is offering FREE sessions for entrepreneurs and senior leaders in Derby

A DERBY businessman who has worked with major global organisations and high-profile, city-based SMEs is offering budding entrepreneurs to test drive his expertise for free.

Tony Prueitt, owner of ActionCOACH Derby, has helped to transform the fortunes of several successful companies including award-winning clothing business Fox Wholesale Vintage.

One of the proudest moments in a stellar career with Stanley Black & Decker – the global manufacturer of industrial tools and household hardware – was transforming Mac Tools Europe into a hugely profitable franchise business.

A recent study by Yell Business revealed that 13% more new businesses were founded each month in 2021 versus 2019 and Tony, who was recently hailed as one of 11 breakthrough stars by international business coaching franchise ActionCOACH, wants to help others in Derby and Derbyshire.

He is offering business owners or executive leaders a free 30-minute session at his office, which is based at the Anson Court Business Centre, in Burton, to test drive high performing coaching.

Tony said: “We saw a boom in entrepreneurs during lockdown – as these statistics prove - as people began to reassess their work/life balance.

“And now, almost two years later, things are getting more serious for those businesses and we’re here to help restore belief, to create an environment that inspires people to become the very best version of themselves.

“At ActionCOACH, we work with clients that have a growth mindset and are seeking to bring structure, focus and accountability to their business goals and plan.

“We challenge and support to instil belief and confidence in their vision, purpose and values which, in turn, delivers growth. We want to share our expertise with others, to help them thrive.

“There is no shortage of talent here in Derby and I would love to work with more young entrepreneurs, just like Fox Vintage Wholesale who have gone from having a couple of thousand of pounds in their bank account in 2017, to turning over millions with their family-run business.”

Fox Vintage Wholesale – siblings Issy, Roxie and Ki Webster – are one of Tony’s longest-standing clients and are tipped for big things in 2022.

Describing themselves as having “one box of clothing in a tiny room” when they first set up their business, to preparing to move into an 8,000-square foot warehouse in the heart of Derby, Fox Vintage Wholesale source used vintage and branded clothing from around the world which they sell in bulk to small and large independent retailers.

Buyers can either buy in bulk online or book a handpick session, where they either visit the warehouse or take part in a virtual call with experts from Fox Vintage Wholesale.

Their new unit, situated on Royal Scot Road, Pride Park, will be an “experience for the reseller” with new bold, vibrant branding, a chill-out area and games room – complete with pool table and a vintage arcade unit where clients can play retro 80s game Pac Man when they need a break from picking.

“Fox Vintage Wholesale are an exciting company to work with and I’m delighted on their success,” said Tony.

“We work with clients that have a growth mindset – like Issy, Roxie and Ki - and are seeking to bring structure, focus and accountability to their business goals and plan. We challenge and support to instil belief and confidence in their vision, purpose and values which, in turn, delivers growth.

“By offering free 30-minute sessions as a taster, we hope that we can help others to fulfil their dreams, whatever they may be.”
