“What drew me to Nelsons was its excellent reputation for staff wellbeing, the way it nurtures its employees and rewards ambitious people. Nelsons is renowned for its excellent work in commercial property, as well as other areas of law, and I am pleased to be joining such a forward-thinking firm at a time where all three of its offices are growing. I’m also excited to bring existing client to Nelsons and look forward to working with both them and new clients.”

Amjad added:

“Joining Nelsons was the perfect career move for me. Having spent time at the firm when I was a trainee solicitor, I already knew that it was a well-run law firm that would provide me with the opportunites to progress in my role and build on my existing skills.

“Commercial property law appealed to me because it puts me in contact with a wide range of different people and organisations. I really enjoy negotiating and obtaining the desired results and look forward to empowering my clients in the months and years to come.”

Liam graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in geography before going on to complete his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Nottingham Law School in 2010, while Amjad completed his LPC and LLB (Hons) in law at DeMontfort University in Leicester.

Riaz Dudhia, partner and head of the commercial property team said:

“We are thrilled to welcome Liam and Amjad to the team. One of the key attributes we look for in a potential employee is being a team player, so it’s great to see both of them hitting the ground running, settling into the department quickly and building a strong rapport with colleagues and clients from day one.”
