Security specialist to create hundreds of new jobs after major contract wins

East Midlands-headquartered security specialist Octavian Security UK is set to create hundreds of jobs across the region and beyond as demand for its services soars.
The company, which is based in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, is reporting "huge" need for its services due to a number of significant contract wins across multiple locations.
The company's Managing Director, Reshma Sheikh, has also announced she will sponsor a number of new recruits through their industry-standard SIA Licence and training as part of the new hires drive.
Octavian's recruitment drive is based upon sites in Nottingham and Buxton as well as Sheerness, Park Royal in London, Northampton, Ryton in Warwickshire and Sandtoft in South Yorkshire.
Reshma said:
"Octavian has continued in 2021 where we set off last year - with a huge number of prestigious client wins. These new sites are high profile and the successful candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, be reliable and dependable with acute attention to detail and complete adherence to operational procedures."
Although Octavian is looking for new recruits with a valid frontline SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security) or current certificate of completion of SIA front line training, Reshma says the company will sponsor a number of new staff through this process.
She added:
"Staff development and retention is a high priority for us, and that's why I'm delighted to announce the chance for a number of our new staff to be sponsored by the company through their SIA qualifications and subsequent training. We continue to invest in the areas that we work, and sponsorship supports our objectives."
Octavian's new intake will benefit from a range of company benefits, plus a pension and comprehensive and ongoing training.
Reshma added:
