Derbyshire construction firm invests in women in construction with four new hires

National contractor The Input Group has strengthened its service offering and commitment to increasing diversity with four new appointments.

Yvonne Moseley joins the firm as a senior quantity surveyor, Jenny Knowles has taken up a position as bid manager, and Caroline Blanksby and Anne Jones have joined the head office support as PA to managing director Chris Monk and office administrator, respectively.

Yvonne, who has more than 35 years of industry experience, has held a number of managerial roles at Tier 1 UK contractors and has extensive knowledge of the rail sector.  Having served as a leading quantity surveyor on several award-winning major schemes including Network Rail. Yvonne also achieved the Daily Telegraph award for Architectural Design innovation and the Derby City Council award for Investment for the new HP turbine facility for Rolls-Royce, Derby.

Yvonne said:

I’m looking forward to making an impact within the business and working alongside talented colleagues to drive forwards standards and efficiencies, and support women in the construction sector – which is something that I’m passionate about.”

Jenny, who joins the company with 14 years of bid experience within the construction and energy sector, will be heading up the bid department.

She said:

I’m looking forward to developing the business’ bid function and identifying opportunities for growth in line with The Input Group’s long-term strategy. I also have a keen interest in supporting social value projects and look forward to building on the fantastic work already taking place in the communities in which the company serve.”
