PERMAGROUP CELEBRATES DISRUPTER AWARD WIN AT EAST MIDLANDS BUSINESS MASTER AWARDS

Permagroup, a collection of brands that provide permanent solutions to age-old building problems, has been awarded the prestigious ‘disruptor award’ at this year’s East Midlands Business Masters Awards, held on 21 October 2021.

The disrupter award acknowledges the success that Derbyshire-based PermaGroup has achieved through investing in its sub-brands (PermaRoof, PermaLawn, PermaFence, PermaRoom and the Skylight Company). Having shown innovation and adaptability to grow the group, despite the challenges of the pandemic, the result of which led to PermaGroup experiencing the most successful year in its history of sales in 2020.

Adrian Buttress, managing director of PermaGroup, said:

“We are immensely proud to be the inaugural winner of the first disrupter award at the East Midlands Business Master Awards 2021, which was introduced to highlight the importance of harnessing innovation during Covid-19 and beyond. Key achievements contributing to the award win include PermaGroup’s forward-thinking approach over the last year and a half to invest in new product development, and introduce new customer initiatives, such as the PermaRoof Rewards Programme app. Furthermore, the group launched its successful PermaRoof commercial division in 2020 for the first time, to be able to offer design, specification, and installation on commercial projects, using the proven and durable rubber membrane Firestone RubberGard EPDM.
