Amazon celebrates second year in Kegworth

The Amazon fulfilment centre in Kegworth recently marked its second anniversary by hosting fun activities for employees.

The Kegworth team took part in socially distanced fun activities at the fulfilment centre, which included pier game stalls and the visit of an ice cream van. The team was also treated to fish and chips in the canteen.

Commenting on the celebrations, Amazon’s Kegworth General Manager, Celia Syme, said:

“We’ve had a great second year in Kegworth and we wanted to do something special to say thank you to our team for all their efforts. It’s been fun to bring everyone together to celebrate our anniversary in a safe and enjoyable way.”

Dean Blatherwick who works at Amazon in Kegworth added:

“We are proud of what we have achieved as a team, and this was a great way to unwind and have some fun.”
