Residential lettings company Monkey vs Owl has further expanded its team in response to the growing demand for flexible rented accommodation and particularly HMO (houses in multiple occupation) properties across the East Midlands.

Holly Edmunds, who has more than ten years’ experience in residential lettings, has joined Monkey vs Owl which has offices in Derby and Loughborough from Scargill Mann in Derby.

She said: “The residential lettings market in the East Midlands is soaring at present.  This was initially because of the increase in young people and adults from both the UK and overseas who taking up university places after all the disruption during the pandemic.

Latest statistics on the Rightmove platform show Monkey vs Owl as having 22% of the Derby lettings market and top ranking for new instructions in the city.
