SF Recruitment continues business transformation plan with significant engineering investment

Leading specialist recruitment firm, SF Recruitment, has announced its latest investment into a specialised engineering recruitment team, spearheaded by two new experienced members.
Mark McGowan and Alex Kent have both joined the team from Optima, bringing more than a decade of experience to the firm. The new roles form part of SF Recruitment’s ambitious business transformation plan, which sees the firm hire expert, entrepreneurial recruiters who have full autonomy to meet their ambitions.
Leading the charge will be Divisional Manager, Mark McGowan, who will utilise his seven years of recruitment experience in the sector to drive SF Recruitment’s ambitious development within engineering. Prior to working in recruitment, Mark was a trained sheet metal worker and fabricator welder, meaning he brings technical expertise to ensure the right people are hired.
Also joining the team will be recruitment consultant, Alex Kent, who brings extensive experience in hiring talent across the engineering sector, including welders, fabricators, CNC machinists and maintenance engineers.

The new engineering talent team will be working across the UK. Mark and Alex are now the 17th and 18th new team members to join SF Recruitment since the turn of the year.
