DERBY BUILDING TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST GROWS TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENT

A leading building technology company based in Derby has strengthened its team with the addition of a new marketeer.

Scenariio – which specialises in IT infrastructure and smart building technology – has appointed Molly Shaw as marketing apprentice, with the role of increasing the company’s visibility after a period of sustained growth.

Molly – who recently graduated from the University of Derby – will join business development director Tom Erskine in helping market the company to new audiences, as well as continuing her education through an apprenticeship delivered by Mitre Training.

The company is based in The Chocolate Factory on Siddals Road with Bustler Market also operating from the site.

Molly said:

“After coming across the job, it sounded like the perfect opportunity after recently graduating from university. I am excited to be joining Scenariio and learning about our technology, meeting the team, customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.

“I am ready to get stuck in to creating content to showcase the amazing things we can do as a company.”

Rob Pritchard, managing director of Scenariio, said:

“As the business is growing, it felt like the right time to add another member to the team to work alongside our business development director to bring more creativity into the business. We are keen to develop young people and felt the marketing apprentice programme provided by Mitre Training was the ideal way to do that.

“We are pleased to welcome Molly to the team here at Scenariio and look forward to working with her as the business grows. We are looking forward to her bringing new ideas and thoughts from a younger perspective, from someone outside the industry.”

Bromley Sibson, director at Mitre Group said:

“It is great to see a forward-thinking organisation like Scenariio utilising apprenticeships in their growth plan. In Molly they have found a brilliantly creative team member, who with the support of Mitre’s tutors will attain the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the new marketing role."
