FOOD CONSULTANCY EXPANDS TEAM TO SUPPORT GROWTH PLANS

LEADING consultancy business The Good Food Group has brought in Iain Laing as an account manager, to support its ambitious growth plans following a successful first quarter.

Iain, who will be responsible for vitamins, supplements and wellness, brings more than 10 years' worth of experience in the food and drink industry - having held previous positions at Colgate, Palmolive and Nestle. Iain has a wide range of skills and extensive expertise, particularly within the herbal and food supplements sector, and previously won an OTC Marketing Award for his work with Potters Herbals

Ross Carlin, managing director at The Good Food Group said:

“We are delighted to welcome Iain to bolster our existing account management team. He brings with him a wealth of experience within the herbal and food supplements categories and his expertise will be invaluable to the future of our business.”

This will support The Good Food Group’s wider plans for expansion, as the company moved into a new office space earlier this month. The new premises will allow the team to work more effectively and collaboratively, as well as offering additional space for photography and filming.

Ross added:

“It’s an exciting time for the business, as we look to expand our customer base. Our new premises will further aid our plans, by giving us space to grow and develop our offering as a food and drink consultancy.”

Iain will be supporting the team with its vitamin, supplements and wellness portfolio, working closely with retailers and manufacturers to identify and fill the gaps across different ranges - introducing innovative brands that not only meet customers’ needs, but exceed buyers’ expectations.

“I’m really pleased to be joining The Good Food Group, it's unlike any other agency I have worked with before and a game-changer in the industry. Within the group there is an innovation and product development team, which means If I am unable to find an existing solution, I can take a brief from the retailer and work with the team to find one - making sure that no opportunity goes unmissed.

“It’s a huge privilege and such a pivotal time for the company, I look forward to sharing my experience with the team and being a part of its wider plans,” said Iain.
